Private residential conversion

This tired flat was completely remodelled and all services replaced. The newly created master bedroom featured a white wall of ‘carved-out’ storage niches, the wet-room a ‘wrapping’ wall of dark tile with plywood and mirror insertions, and the new kitchen a recycled plastic worktop made by Finnish company Durat. These contrasting features sit in harmony with the restored period detail of the adjoining spaces demonstrating that it is possible to live in a contemporary way within historical properties.
